Jane Alexander, mental health coordinator for Mental Health Connect of Missouri shares her story of living with bipolar disorder. Her journey through mental illness began in 2006 when she received a steroid injection for back pain. The unexpected happened and she found herself in a psychiatric hospital. - Episode 3: A Pastor’s Perspective – interview with Pastor Rick Friesen. He shares his perception of mental health in the church.
Future podcasts will feature conversations with the following: a past seminary president and Biblical counselor; the manager over an employment services group devoted to finding jobs for people with disabilities; a mental health consumer who shares what it’s like to live with a mental illness.
